Default quattro+snow=amazing (long...)

ok i have bald oem rubber on my stock wheels, but even with this ****y combo, handling on snow covered streets was amazing. nice and controlled slides (cept one, which finished off my day/night or driving). Now I can wait till tuesday to take my baby to the doctor. time to look into that rental explorer i guess...

Pics from todays adventures/misadventures

Loved the pictures. What tires do you have? What did you hit?

Default Sorry for your misfortune, but...(more)

It never ceases to amaze me how many people will blithely venture out into the snow with inadequate tires.

Are you going to buy a set of winter tires now? I'll bet the cost of your front end repairs could have bought a nice set plus change.

Default new tires were supposed to be here today....

i guess theyll be here next week. but i dont blame anyone or anything for this, its my own fault for driving like a nut, and now im going to pay for it.... (of course the dealers closed, so i have no idea how much) if any of you have any idea what this might cost to fix (i know its prolly pointless to ask as you dont know whats wrong)id appreciate to hear you ideas.

Default Would have happened to me!

THAT is exactly why I didn't take my car out today. I was tempted to give "quattro" a test on the first real snow day we've had in NYC in a long time. But I didn't NEED to go anywhere, so, for once, my brain worked and told me not to be an idiot! (Not that I'm calling you an idiot!) Now if I had a nice BIG parking lot nearby...
