Questions . . .
I just purchased a 1999 A6. It did not have an owner's manual and AudiUSA has them on backorder. I cannot find one online and I have some questions that some of you should be able to answer.
1. When the car is put in reverse sometimes the side mirrors tilt down. Is this normal? Is there a setting.
2. When adjusting the side mirrors I can turn the **** between the passenger and driver to select wich mirror to control. However I can turn the **** further than either one of the mirror graphics. Am I supposed to be able to do this?
3. While playing with the peg on the instrument cluster I must have turned on something that makes the car beep when it hits a certain MPH. Is this correct? Is there anything else I can do with this peg?
4. On the drivers side door their is a button above (or below) the trunk release button. What does this button do? It has a graphic of a car with lines come from the ceiling. Does this control the interior lights or maybe the alarm?
5. How the heck to you program the seat memory? Set the seat position, then press M and then a number? This seems not to work.
6. Is there a way to synchronize the temperatures on the AC so I dont have to set one to say, 74 and then set the other to 74? I want to be able to push one button that sets both to the same temp.
7. What is the holder next to the parking break for. It can't be a cup holder, can it?
8. Does the A6 have washer fluid jets that clean the headlights? Is that what those bumps in front of the headlights on the bumper are for?
9. Anyone in the Herndon, VA area have on an owner's manual they would let me look at?
