Default Questions on brakes... Different sizes at ECS Tuning...

So I STF, but didn't come up with much regarding how to figure out which rear rotors to get without taking them off and measuring them (I currently dont have a garage...).

I need to get the rears replaced, so I'm planning on purchasing the rotors and pads through ECS, then having a local indy install them (see previous "no garage" comment).

Here's the configuations on their website:

> 245x10
> 255x10 with 1.5" deep rotor hat
> 255x10 with 1.75" deep rotor

Anyone else with an '02 2.7T know which one I should get? Also, the indy shop quoted me about $400 for new rotors/pads/labor. Does that sound fair? He said the labor is about $170 if I provide the parts myself (through ECS it's about $190 for cross-drilled rotors and Hawks pads).

Default You really need to go measure, it's possible that what somebody else has might not be the same as

what you have. You just never know.

Should be easy to measure without removing those wheels.

I suppose with my wheels I should be able to get a ruler in there...

Default Just measure it. It takes 5 minutes to pop a wheel off with a floor jack or even (last resort)...

the crappy jack that comes with the car.
