what's the difference between cabin and pollen filter? I have a 98 A6Q 2.8 30V when i buy 98 air filter just won't fit so i have to get filter for 99. Now i buy filter which is just beside battery for 98 A6 at the dealership i warn him about prewious mistake i have about air filter. Guess what that filter he give me won't fit its lil bigger 1 cm on every side. I'm lost dealer don't know the right part then who???

It is either 310mmx196mmx30mm or 300mmx205mmx30mm
310mmx196mmx30mm is for chassis code up to X045000
300mmx205mmx30mm is for chassis code X045001 and up
The cabin filter is either a particulate filter, or an activated charcoal filter. The price differs about $5-$15 between the two depending on where you get it.

I get this one for $60 but since he sold me wrong one and i told him are you sure I will kick once
again dealers butt. Damn i hate those lazy F*** . >:^(
