i went through stoney's links and couldn't find what i was after,....

are the bulbs on these A6's particular ? like, if i replace them with a sub-par bulb, will it throw a "light out" in the autocheck system? i know the older mercedes and bmw's did this. i'm ordering some nice quality LED replacement bulbs and would just like to see if i'll have issues or not... since i already clicked the buy it now, i guess i'll find out :P but i can always put them in my 4kq.
