Radiator Drain
For some reason my car has no drain built in the radiator like some models. I know that these cars have pressurized coolant system. Has anyone ever installed a radiator flush kit on these cars with no leaking. If I put one on the lower hose I can use the T to capture the coolant this coolant is expensive and mine hasn't been in very long and I want to reuse it. I have to fix an oil leak coming from the lower engine cover the gasket is 32 in this diagram ENGINE for 2004 Audi A6 Quattro

First time I am hearing this! If you are talking about a hot engine, yeah the coolant pump will be running, coolant possible expanded due to heat and pressures will increase.
On a cold engine? NOPE. There is no pressure. Don't believe it? Let your engine cool down to touch and open the reservoir cap. No pressure.

I agree in part when it's cold there is no coolant pressure but this is a sealed system that will be under more pressure than a typical system when hot. This is not typical for cooling systems all other vehicles that I have worked on have a radiator cap that vents coolant/pressure into the expansion tank that will also be vented so there's almost no pressure on it. This is the only type I've put on the flush kits on. These kits don't seem to be super heavy duty. I just don't want my coolant leaking out hot or cold. I was just wondering if anyone has put these on a sealed system without leak problems.
