Rear-ended A6 update.
Both my ins. co. and the other guy's say that I need my bumper cover replaced. ~$1000 damage without even taking the bumper cover off. So I'm going to do it, the pipes are going to shine, coming out through the valence. Even if I have to get cut-outs made in a 2000 bumper cover, I'm doing it. First official mod! (If you don't count 00032 tip mod and window-key fob mod).

Did you do the 00032 tip mod yourself?
I want to get this one done on my '03 4.2 but don't know how to get it done. I don't know anyone with a VAG. How did you get yours done? Are you satisfied with the results?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I met someone through the VAG-COM locator who was nice enough to help me out..
Thanks Matt! It makes a difference, though not as dramatic as I thought it would be. It still upshifts from 1st prematurely, but it does feel more gutsy. Oh and I highly suggest the other mod I did (I forget the code), but at 15 mph, all doors lock (auto unlock when you remove the key from ignition), one touch lock and unlock, and window control from the key fob. It's great!
