Can't frickin believe it. Today while waiting at a red lite some gonad in a Chevy Blazer plowed into me ('01 2.7T). No injuries to me but my bumper and trunk lid are toast. No quarter panel damage. These cars are built tough. Almost the exact same scenario in 10/02, although that time my bumper was nearly falling off and the trunk lid was a pretzel. At least I know the ropes I'm about to be put through by his ins. co. and how to insure they see my point of view re. MY body shop, A6 rental equivalent, etc. What really pisses me off is the personal insult I feel and the major hassle factor for the next month or so. I know my shop (Amatos, San Diego) will make the car perfect. Anyway, other than that I was having a pretty good day. Any additional thoughts re. dealing with the at fault driver ins. co. is welcome.
