Dropped my car off for the drive belt replacement which they happily charged me 290. Then I was informed of two leaks one caused by the coolant reservoir and the other one comming from the differential seal in the front these two leaks are costing me an additional 390. Is this the normal cost for the repairs or am I buying christmas gifts for the employees children at the dealership.

Jack-off, mooch, roach, deadbeat, gasser, grinder, stroke,
well, hopefully you get the picture ;-)
Please refrain from calling a dealership a stealership unless you have clear evidence of misdeeds. There are plenty of people on this forum who work or have worked at dealerships and provide valuable information. In fact they might be the ones best able to tell you if your dealer is being honest - buy why would they if you insult them?
If you have an honest beef, that's entirely another matter.

Looks to me like you bought somebody's kid a little R/C car. ;)
Drive belt labor = 1 hour ($60 at the shop I use)
Drive belt part = $23.90 from GPR plus shipping
Add tax and you're under under $100 even if the belt costs more from a local parts source. Even if your shop charges $75/hour it's a $100-$125 job.
Find an indie shop and buy the R/C car for your kid.

The question is totally reasonable. You're just insulting a number of forum members
with your choice of name for the dealer. I was just pointing out that I (and the contributing dealership folks) have plenty of equally offensive alternatives when it comes to referring to you "civilians," ;-)

On behalf of the dealership lot lizards, I accept your apology ;-)
Hopefully 6ULDV8 (Ed) will be able to chime in - or somebody who has had the same service done already.
I would suggest posting your location both here and searching the regional forums for recommendations of some good independent Audi service shops as a backup to your dealership.
