Not sure about the answer, but why?
Are you not happy with the tranny in your S6?
Do you want the shift paddles on the steering wheel? You could retrofit, late 03 S6's had them.
Have you reprogrammed your tranny with the 00032 code yet? This is a major improvement.
Give use some more details.
IIRC, they share the same tranny, but my memory is not what it used to be....even if I am wrong, the costs would outweigh the benefits IMHO. I would think that if they are different, it would void the warranty too.

my S6 is Year 2000 production model.Old style gear box with max gear limit, without S (sport) mode. It responses too slow for such great car.

Surely you can modify that by updating the software/ecu a lot easier than...
changing the box.
My guess is you will struggle to get your ECU to work with the RS6 box.
