Looking to swap out my 2.8 motor and droping in a 03 RS6 motor i konw that there will be alot of custom work done to this C5 model, but i just want to know if it can be done or has it been done befor.
Oh also can S63AMG rims fit on this model, or will i have to get a hub a adapter?
Rim Spec:
Bolt Pattern: 5X112
Rim Width: F: 8.5 , R:9.5
Hub Bore: 66.56
Rim Diameter: 19
Offset: Front 35 and Rear 38

you will have to get hub-centric adapters for the wheels but it will fit.
About the rs6 motor, i wouldn't put it in a narrow body. if then put it in a 4.2 or s6 and the mounts should be identical

Swap a 2.7t with some k04s it will make as much power as the rs6 and will fit in the narrow body. Plus if you go for tial 605s or 770r turbos you can make more power than the rs6 motor will do even a modified rs6.

Not a chance for two reasons;
- The V8 simply will not fit in that chassis' front end, which is why they engineered a larger one for the 4.2, S6 and RS6 and...
- By the time you honestly evaluate the costs of doing this, including modifying the basic front end of the chassis, you'll realize it would be cheaper to just buy what you really want in the first place.

I would say the motor is not worth the investment to put in, buy an Audi already built. Ungodly amounts of money have to be invested to make these cars have enough power to get out of their own way...
