S5 Wheels on C5 A6: XPost from Wheels and Tires Forum
First, yes, I STFA.
I have been offered a set of the stock S5 wheels and want to know if anyone has attempted to install these on a 2002 A6 2.7T. Stock sport suspension, not lowered, etc.
Here's the specs as best as I can tell...just don't know if the offset or width will pose a problem:
Stock BBS: 17 x 7J, 5x112 bolt pattern, 35mm offset
S5 Wheels: 19 x 8j, 5x112 bolt pattern, 45mm offset

I would check the centerbore on the S5. IIRC starting with the A5/S5 Audi is using a different CB.... maybe hub adapters would work? But I don't think they'd fit off the bat.
Not sure you'd want 19s to begin with.... your tires would be pretty thin.

Yes, the centerbore is larger, so they would work if you could find a proper set of hubcentric rings, but I have not information about the offset of those wheels which is another issue, and I agree...19's will leave you very little sidewall.
Centerbore for B8 platform is 66.5 MM
Centerbore for C5 (and other platforms) is 57.1 MM
