My scratch is about one inch long. I have a silver A6 also and it's all the way down to the black part. I've been reading mixed reviews on the Langka also, but like yourself, I have invested in the Audi touch-Up kit and the Langka. When ever you decide to do the repair let me know and I'll do the same.

Your best bet is to first use a good quality rubbing compound and then top it off with a hard wax. That is the best you can do short of repainting the bumper.
