Search for the hidden EQ in 02 models: I haven't been able to find it yet, and my salesman said
he'd try and track down whether it exists; said they'd even call Bose and ask about it. If I hear anything definitive, I'll post about it.

Find out who makes the head unit and call them. I don't think Bose makes
FM/AM/CD units, the ones in the 2000-01's were Pioneer or somesuch. The hidden equalizer was not a Bose feature, I believe it worked whether the radio was set to Bose mode or not.
