Just wondering what the light that flashes a skeleton key with water running under it meant? Is that the power steering fluid signal by chance?

Best thing to do is to find out where it's going. Look under the hood for telltale white, chalky, residue.

You can top up with Peak Global, but you'll lose that wonderful white chalky residue function of the G12 fluid installed by the dealer/factory.

Possible causes: leaking coolant bottle, leaking hose, blown head gasket, leaking water pump, leaking radiator.

or, you can go to your local VW dealer and buy G-12 for $18 a gallon, and keep the lovely pink look!

i don't know dealer said might be sensor but who knows
