since using BG44K fuel system cleaner followed by an oil change. Use to average 15-16MPG.Extended high speed freeway driving is about the same at 25MPG. PS: I've used Chevron 91 for all 28,000 miles.

Default I just tried Techron for the first time...

Bought MY 2000 2.7t used, don't know if cleaner was used for first 44,000 miles.

Computer displayed 23.2 mpg for the 1000 miles before using Techron. In the 500 miles since techron, it has been getting 24.3 mpg, most of the miles have been highway commuting miles.

Would BG44K make even more of an improvement? I have heard that BG44K is some strong stuff, should I use Techron a few more times before using BG44K? ...or maybe let more buildup occur before BG44K?

Is BG44K available OTC (auto parts store) or only at stealers?
