shipping wheels/tires question

shipping wheels/tires question
Can anyone give me tips on shipping wheels and tires. I have a potential buyer and I'd like to package them safely. I've never packaged wheels and tires so any recommendations regarding supplies, etc. would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: shipping wheels/tires question
Use UPS not FedEx Ground. UPS has the ground thing figured out much better as far as delivery turnaround. An easy way to ship if they have tires on them is to put in thick plastic then cut out cardboard circles to match diameter for both front and back of wheel. Then duct tape around. Another option is to go to tire store and bum some boxes. Should be between $25-$30 per tire.

Packaging wheels and tires for shipping
See the link below for an explanation.
Having received wheels wrapped this way, let me make a few comments:
Make sure to use plenty of tape to wrap the whole thing. Shipping will rip much of the tape off. Cover the tires completely so that the tape edges don't get snagged and torn off. Tape doesn't stick well to tires, but does stick well to itself.
Also, do not include bolts or other items unless extremely well wrapped and secured... those rip free as the tires are bounced around during handling, and can bang up the wheels badly.

i got them online...they are Racetiv pedals...
try doing a search on google. I'm sure they will pop up. But to tell you the truth they were a pain to install...the gas pedal especially (brake pedal perfectly fits). The racetiv pedals were made to fit other vehicles. Unfortunately not our Audis. I had to use different hardware that came with another pedal set...It was a complete pain.

This is the way to go. Buy some serious, heavy duty STRAPPING tape. You should use at leat TWO rolls
Go around the tire several times. Make a 5 star spoke pattern with the tape and your wheels should be fine.
