Default Silly brake fluid question on 02 S6

How do you check it? Does that screen come out?

What kind can I buy if I need some?

Can I get it at a regular auto parts store?

Thanks.

Default

ATE Super Blue (or gold) seems to be a popular choice

Default griot's garage sells an electrical conductivity fluid tester that I've used.

Just for the helluvit. Calibrate it on a fresh can of fluid and then test the fluid in your reservoir.

But you can obviate the testing by just changing the fluid every year or at least every other year. ATE Blue/Amber works well.
