Default Snowing in Dallas, Quatro is AWESOME!

O.K., not as much ice & snow as you "northerners" are familiar with, but for Texans, slick is slick. This Quatro rocks. It's got more grip than ice shoes on a good horse! I can't wait for it to be broken-in, then I can really spur this pony. I'm going for another test drive before it all melts!!!!!!

Default Just be careful. There's a bunch of idiots here that don't know anything about driving on snow and

ice, most of them don't have quattro (although the ones that have 4-wheel drive seem to think that means you can go as fast as you want on snow and ice) and accidents, unfortunately, happen even to the most skilled drivers in these conditions. I've got lots of experience driving in stuff like this, but that doesn't mean I feel safe driving on ice. I prefer to keep my cars out of it if at all possible, and let the crazies prove Darwin was right.

Ok, off the soapbox.

Default Agreed, DFW is NOT the place to take an Audi out in bad weather...

What a dilema! Have fun with Quattro or cry when the bonehead in the '72 Impala flattens your beautiful Audi rear end?
