So dirty...

Don't let people write on your car...it *will* scratch the finish.
Someone "wrote" on my old Golf (it was white) and the impression was clearly visible for months despite many wash/waxings (and a polishing attempt to remove it didn't help).

The car's clean now...
You can barely see a few letters in certain light. Rubbing compound --> Claybar --> Wax will fix this. My paint's kinda sh!tty anyways, but I understand the concern. A friend of mine did this while I was in a store. I let it go cause it made me crack up... and in the grand scheme of things, scratched paint doesn't matter.

Mine said..."Congratulations Larry and...." after I got engaged.
I was kind of a late bloomer, no one thought I'd ever get married. Same deal, a friend wrote it (a real car guy too, but he didn't know) so I couldn't be pissed at him about it. Kinda funny in a way, and I'm glad the engagement is still working out really well (been married almost 3 years now)!

OMG, it is so dumb to write on his own car, sorry but, yes it's dumb!
You are putting fine scratches and when you'll wash it, you'll still see what you wrote on your paint. Imagine all that salt you were moving hard on your paint.

Am I? I didn't know that. I think you should tell me again. In fact...
I think I need 87 more people to tell me. Hold on... let me post it again so you could tell me all about the fine scratches again.
The car's clean now, and you can see maybe traces of two or three letters. I didn't write it, however I did not give a **** when someone wrote it in my car... and I took time to have a laugh. Hold on while I continue not giving a fvck...
