Soot on Exhaust Tips / Air Fuel OK?
2.7T chipped. No CEL or DTC's showing, but the exhaust tips (dual walled Magnaflows) are always "sooty". Car runs great.
1) Is this normal?
2) If not normal, wouldn't a messed up air/fuel ratio throw a DTC or set the Check Engine Light?
3) What VAG group would you log to check a/f ratio?
