Re: Synthetic Oils
I wouldn't run any oil in my cars, especially one that's equipped with Turbos, unless it's a synthetic oil. That said, I hasten to add, don't do it untill you have broken in your car! The mineral oil permits your rings to wear (break in).
I have driven AMSOIL for 4-6 years, but changed to NEO about 6 years ago and use it in everything that needs lubrication. Even my doors in my home, bike chain etc.
Their web site are:
AMSOIL amsoil.com
NEO neosyntheticoil.com
REDLINE redlineoil.com

Re: Synthetic Oils
Maybe I should have been more clear. I was looking for mail order retailers. I found Racer Parts Wholesale at 1 800.397.7815 seemed to have the whole Red Line catalogue.
Are there any Audi specific catalogues? like Bavarian Autosport for BMW's?

Re: Synthetic Oils
Contact NEO and you can become a "dealer" get wholesale prices. They will send the oil to you if you buy a box (12 quarts). I used to sell to any like minded persons, but gave it up years ago to serve only my family.
That's the best that I can do. Good luck.
