squeaky noise from the steering wheel
I have an 01 A6 2.7T and its steering wheel is making squeaky noise when I turn it. I suspect that the culprit is old power steering fluid, but who knows? Anybody knows why the steering wheel is making this annoying noise??

from the steering wheel or from the steering under the engine?
mine squeaks too, but i guess its from a mouse screaming behind my instrument cluster or lack of WD-40...

Was having the same issue and then I just did the power steering flush.
Look below for instructions.. and get 2 litre of Pentosin CHF11s
All noises are gone... of course makes sure you power wash the resovoir after removing it and let is dry our completely overnight...
