Missed that part. Just felt excited to see the A4 win finally.

Don't know what happened to Gidley in the 3rd car though.

You could always tell that the A4s were competitive. They just had bad luck and technical glitches.

They always run hot laps early on, and like the old RS6s, they are rockets at the start of a race. I suspect it's hard for a little independent team like Statis to do enough testing to beat back all of the gremlins. If they campaign a new A4, I hope that Audi gives them big bucks to fund development and testing.

EDIT: I hear they plugged in a new engine this time (1.8t). That may have something to do with it!
