Default Stock vs. Mintex brake dust photos

Here is the pic of the stock pads (front)after ONE DAY of my normal driving (about 60 miles daily, mostly freeway, with a lot of stop/slow and go). I swiped the wheel with my finger so you can see the amount of dust.

Now, here is the picture of the front wheel after ONE WEEK with the Minitex Reb Box pads.

After one week with the stock pads, the wheels would have been more or less black.

So, at least for now, the dust seems to be greatly reduced. We will see if this holds up as the pads mature. Also, the braking seems to be about the same as before.

Not to mention a higher co-efficient of friction.

Talk to Mike at AWE, there has been some confusion on the back pads

yeah, some rears can take old 'fingered' pads, other can't... aftermarket are mostly 'old' style

That looks good, but isn't it going to wear down the rotors quicker?

Actually, it is a little softer density than the stock Jurids.
