Swapping a 2001 transmission into a 1999
Looking to swap the lower end of the 2.8l engine along with the manual transmission from a donor 01 A6 into an automatic 99 2.8l A6. I know that the 01 is a DBW and the 99 is not. Can the clutch and brake assembly be swapped in and the gas pedal from the 99 stay the same? Everything above the block is going to be from the 99 as it has good heads and intake.
