Symptom - Opinions Please ('01 2.7T w/tip)
after mildly aggressive acceleration followed by long coasting, the transmission is not there when gas is re-applied. It takes 1-2 seconds before engaging, and when it does it "clunks" into action - depending on how much gas is being applied. Happens intermittenly and after using the tip to slow/coast down to a rolling stop - then upon renewed acceleration...
