Man, what a pain in the *** to remove. (99 A6Aq)I suspected the headlight washer hose to be leaking, but it wasn't. The rubber grommet that seals the headlight washer pump was seeping around the base. I guess over time it shrunk and lost a good seal. I didn't want to take a chance on just a new one, I didn't know whether the plastic tank opening itself might have deteriorated...so I cleaned the grommets good and used aquarium sealant on them after pushing them back in. Letting it dry now. Tomorrow, I get to put the thing back in...oh joy.
