Thanks to the people on this board who recommended>
buying the mintex red box brake pads for my car. I have had them on a couple of weeks now and am very satisfied with them. Very little break dust no noise and a much better initial bite. I liked them so much I put them on my 94 100 as well.

Purchase of '99 Avant Wagon Advice
All,
I'm zeroing in on a purchase of a 55K "99Avant Wagon. Please post things to be on the look out for, (problems).
Condition,
Leather and carpet in good condition but needs a good cleaning,
Wind shield broken, Can be fixed
Rearview mirror hanging by a thread,
Hatch door compartment, (containing caution sign), latch broken.
Exterior OK,
Newer tiers with used full size spair.
I'll get the VIN Number for Carfax check.
Asking cost is $19,750 in Southern Connecticut.
