Default Tires

OK, I've narrowed my tire choices to Toyo T1-S and Pirelli PZero Nero M+S in 235/45/17. I'm in SoCal, so only need summer tires. Appreiate opinions from anyone who has ridden on these tires, or on any other tires I should consider.

Thanks.

I'm a fan of the Toyos! Good ride, good grip rain or dry, no vibrations!

Default Running T1-S's and IMHO they are a great tire! Nor Cal here and running them year round

as well. No problems in the rain and cold to date.
Very good grip low noise tire.

Default Re: Tires

Another possibility: Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. Any opinions?

Default I'm in San Diego, on my 4th set of tires ('01 2.7T w/83K) and...

PZero Nero M+S are by far the best if you can compromise a little handling for superior wear. After 22K, still have at least 1/3 to 1/2 tread life left, very quiet, and give me all I need for 65%/35% freeway/surface street driving. They have been great with all the rain we've had too. I have same set up you're looking at 235/45/17.

Default Love my Toyos. Gone through several sets on different cars.

Quiet tire for the amount of grip.

Default Re: Love my Toyos. Flat Spots were never a problem..

Went with a lesser brand and flat spots abound in the mornings..held up under worn conditions very well..
Agreed.

Default So Toyos are the way to go!!!

Looking at getting Proxes 4 for my BBS VZ rims 255/40/17. Also was looking at the Hankook Ventus K104, but by the sounds of it I should go with the Toyos.

Default Yeah, we beat on them at the track, go on road trips with them, and everything inbetween.

They stay balanced too.
