Default Tires for my 4.2. It's time for tires and I'm thinkling about going to 18's

I'm not really concerned about ultimate performance, but I would like a tire which rides well, is quiet and gets reasonable wear. Any suggestions? Thanks.

SP9000's are a decent tire.

Default I like my new Bridgestone Potenza RE750s. Only have about a thousand

miles on them, but so far they are quiet and the treadwear rating is 340. It is the first set of summer tires I've owned since the 1980's with a treadwear rating over 200.

Default You can still get ultimate performance and what you're asking for if you get Eagle F1 GS-D3's

Default Falken Ziex 512s for you, sir (or madam). SUPER quiet, 360 treadwear, great ride, nice handling.

Plus, they're VERY reasonably priced.

I was concerned about a harsh ride with 18s, but these things are perfect for what you're asking for, plus they're all-season rated.

HTH.
