You'll need to either shave the new tire down to match the other 3 or get new rubber...

Quattro does not like significant variances in tread depth. I think the tolerance (accordign to the tech pages on Tire Rack) for Audi is 4/32" which is more than I would have expected, but check that out in the link below...

I had a jack sink into hot pavement onceafter tire was off that was a real PIA

if it makes you feel any better i have one tire thats got 3 HUGE bubbles in it and vibrates like who

whoa... plus the bbs POS tool to take the centercaps off doesnt actually grip anything and i have no other way to do a tire change currently in my car if my hands fail to remove said centercaps...

fun prospect....

Too much tread variation=unequal traction=possible spin in panic stop.

For those not in New england reading this, it is very cold here. My outside temp this AM was -5 deg F.

The accepted thing is to use "fvck" or some varient that won't alert company filters.

Using profanity can cause the website to be blocked. There is a practical reason for our rules:-)
