tranny problem ???
few days ago smth strange happend to my 02 2.7t with triptronic. when i was driving around 60mph sadenly red light came out on the cluster where I have trans. info. All gears are red with red backround and the car is not shifting.Check eng light came up too. What does it mean ??

I'm no expert here, but I believe that the tranny went into backup (limp) mode.
This would be caused by the ECU detecting a problem with the transmission.
You should get someone to check for stored codes and then get a dealer to confirm the problem.
Hope it's nothing too serious!
