Tune up???

Re: Tune up???
I have a sub-question to this (but no answers ... sorry. Did you look in the little "maintenance" book that came with the car?)
On my recently sold 90CS, I always replaced the timing belt, water pump, and associated rollers every 60k miles or so. The "official Audi position" is 90k miles (modified from the original position of "whenever it's time"), but it's generally accepted that the 12v's water pump will die reliably around 75k miles or so.
The book for the 2.7t moves that up to 110k miles I think ... is that really safe? I mean it would be nice to not have to replace it so often but only if that doesn't mean new valves and pistons every 75k miles.

Now is a great time for the timing belt, water pump, rollers, t-stat, accessory belt
along with plugs, and engine air and cabin air filters.
Also flush coolant and flush brake fluid if that hasn't been done in 2 or 3 years.
When doing the timing belt, this is a good time to do the camshaft seals and cam adjuster gaskets along with valve cover gaskets. You can choose not to do these if there are no signs of leakage, but if the cam adjuster gaskets are not leaking now, they probably will b4 your next timing belt interval.
Oh, yeah, you can get many opinions on when to do the timing belt on the 30 valve engine, but I have settled pretty firmly on 75k (regardless of what the official info (105k I think) says.

2000 MY maintenance schedule on Bentley Pub site
