I have a 2002 2.7 tip and I have a little hesitation on occasion, but it's nothing that has ever concerned me. However! And it's a big however, from a dead stop after starting the car (cold or warm) it feels like I'm starting off in 4th, except I get a high rev like a slipping clutch. But, I stop, turn the car off, restart and it is corrected - never fails. It's kind of like a reboot.

I was wondering if a software flash might help this? I haven't seen where anyone else mentions the restart - at least not for this problem.

I didn't pay much for the car and it's in great shape, just needs a little work. Nothing fifteen hundred to two grand won't take care of. But, I don't really want to start throwing money into a tranny. I'll sell it and play with something else.
