Well this is actually very clever. During development time they will be using Skoda's name, which cannot hurt VW or Audi while they sit at the back of the grid. Once the car is fully developed and competitive, nothing stops them from changing the name to Audi or Lamborghini....<ul><li><a href="http://www.f1-live.com/en/index.html?http://www.f1-live.com/en/headlines/news/detail/020303201944.shtml">http://www.f1-live.com/en/index.html?http://www.f1-live.com/en/headlines/news/detail/020303201944.shtml</a</li></ul>

Hope Audi can have same quick success as Williams/BMW (without going airborne like R. Schumacher
just did). Amazing footage -- glad no one was injured. Quote: "It was so frightening," Ralf Schumacher said. "Going airborne in an aircraft is a lot nicer than going airborne in an F1 car, which is not really made for that."

Skoda denies being part of Prost purchase
What is the truth? Tough to tell right now.
With Skoda in the WRC already, perhaps VAG sees Skoda as their low-cost sports brand?<ul><li><a href="http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines02/03/s8681.html">http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines02/03/s8681.html</a</li></ul>
