Default Valentine 1 hardwire questions

I am going to do a hardwire with the remote, but don't have the kit. I do have a spare lighter plug, and am wondering which end of the plug is + and which is -. I was thinking of plugging both the remote and V1 into the plug, and just running the wire to the fuse box from the plug itself.

Thanks,

Default Thats not the part I'm questioning. It is the parts of the lighter plug itself.

There's the end piece that goes all they way to the bottom, and the 2 pieces on the side which are the opposite pole from the end piece. Is the end piece + or -?

V1 parts are cheap enough, perhaps its best to just order from Valentine?

Yeah, your time is easily worth the cost of the parts IMO.
