Default We need a real German Audi enthusiast to help us translate. Our cunning "German" linguists here

have something stuck in their throats or ....

There is a ton of great stuff in German articles and magazines about our German car. If only we could recruit one of the gadzillion German Audi drivers or Audi Ingolstadt company staff into our Forum.

In the meantime, if one web translator does not work, try another one if you really need the info. A search for "translate a web page" will bring up other web translators such as Systran, etc.

P.S. Id vaz gute funn, Ja...

Default Ahem! Text is in Dutch, not German. Unfortunately, . . .

. . . I don't read/speak Dutch, I've just run across it often enough to know it when I see it. And there aren't any free Dutch/English translation services on the Internet that I can find. Oh, well.

Default In short, it says that Phaeton is the name for VW's top of the line sedan.

My understanding of the article is that the price range is from 100,000 DM100,000 for the v-6 version to DM200,000 for the w-12 version. The German Chancellor, Schröder, rode in the Phaeton at the opening of VW's new facility in Dresden. In addition, there is an armored version called Protect. As I've taught myself a little Dutch, just enough to get into trouble, I can't vouch for the accuracy of my translation, but I think I have the sense of the article.
