I just bought some new side rear view mirrors for my 2001 A6 2.8L. They have turn signals built into the mirror housing, and I was going to wire them myself by splicing into the side blinkers. However, before I start tearing into the car, I thought I would ask where I could find a diagram or explanation of how to get to these wires correctly. It's a simple three wire process, but some instruction would help. I've done some searching, but can't find anything. Hope someone can help... thanks a million!

...on the front fenders, but I am not sure which wire is which. I am assuming you got those mirrors from eBay. It will be interesting to see how they fit your car. Post some pictures when you are done.
