Default Watched silver 2.7t park today. Cringed as the front bumper sailed over the parking berm....

...but it cleared with just a sliver of space between them. Whew!

two days after buying myA6 I met up with one of those. Now I take extreme caution in parking lots!!

I don't mind 'em...just as long as it's someone else's fault (can anyone say bumper upgrade? lol)

Default Call me crazy...but...

I use those parking stops as a *visual* cue to stop, not a tactile cue. As a result, I've never lost a spoiler or scraped a bumper.

Learned this the hard way on my C4 A6, not a good sound when you hear it start to scrape.

Default I heard that *crunch-pop* sound the other day...it was a new Volvo wagon...

..jacked up the lower lip of the bumper, but it stayed on and didn't seem to damage anything else. :/
