What about RS4 8" x 18" OEM wheels? Pricy!!
To go with 18" or 19", Do I need to make any modification to fit 03 A6 2.7T (currently on stock 17 that came with sport package)?
What do you guys know about the wheels?
Thanks again,

I have a set of RS4 8" x 18" from the Wheel Exchange and they cost $699 plus shipping.....
They look great but you will want to spend the extra money on OEM center caps. The one's that come with the replicas look cheap. Aside from that the wheels are very good quality.

Main considerations are offset and width...
Either 18" or 19" will fit, assuming of course you get the correct hub center and bolt pattern.
For the narrower 2.7T body, you generally need an ET35 offset, although an ET30 may be OK -- it will just push the wheel outboard that much more.
Personally, I think 235 is the max width for that body. Any more and you run into rubbing issues or having the tire stick outside the wheel wells. A few guys around here have gone with 245 or even 255, but I think they had to roll fenders or take out a liner screw or put on mudflaps.
Given that, I also think 19" is too big (for this body). The idea of +1 or +2 (or even +3) fitments is that you can go wider AND taller by compensating with lower profile tires. But you'd still be max'd out at 235, meaning you have to go with 35 series rubber with no added width. To me, it's aesthetically disproportional, and leaves you with very little rim protection. It would be different with the wider 4.2 body.
Finally, which 17" wheels did you get? The BBS' or the new narrow 5-spokes. I might be interested in your take-offs if you do get new wheels. Please drop me a note: im_cecil@yahoo.com
Hope this helped.

The OEM 18's on AoA's web site are the S-Line Wheel
ET 35 I beleive. Way over priced retail, you can find them on eBay.de or sometimes on eBay.com for far less. Otherwise theres replica's, (see below threads).
