Default What are the Top 10 most common problems with the A6?
As I've recently, my A6 2.7T is on the way and it should be sitting in my garage by July 15th. As a first time Audi owner I was wondering what the more common problems are with this car so I can be on the lookout.

I know each car is different and some have very few problems while others spend half their life at the dealer. That's why I want to know what the most typical problems are ahead of time.

Default Oil pan gaskets and oil level sensors! Each replaced twice in 4 months!!!!!! No other major problems
that I know of. Enjoy your new ride!

I heard that rattles have already been a problem with many Audi.

Default For 2.7T-TBB tears and air intake valves. Audi's TBBs are easily torn and they haven't come up....
with significantly sturdier ones yet. Look up TBB on a search.

Goes real fast then runs low on gas, odometer records to many miles. Cant help keeping it clean.

Default Nose tearing off on curb, headlight washer cover flying off, too much oil added at dealer, bad
window guides, a boatload of stuff like water pump, timing belt, etc etc should be changed at 60,000, dealers lie about antifreeze needing changing every two ears, magical lifetime transmission fluid, warped brake rotors, Consumer Reports telling it like it is and it's the only kind of car I've ever owned. I really think I will go Bimmer next time, at least today.
