Default Wheel Advice?? 17" Fittipaldi Polaris

I think I will get some 17" wheels as an upgrade for my 2.7 PSK, and of TireRack's offering, I like the Fittipaldi Polaris but am concerned that it looks too much like the standard 2.7 wheel. For those who have this wheel combo, or have seen it, what is your opinion. Also considering BBS RC and ATP RIVA.

Default I have the P:olaris....

Fitipaldi Polaris 17x8 with Bridgstone Potenza RE730 245/45-17 to be exact. I am extremely pleased with the change in the car. I have a NON-psk car, and yes - they do look somewhat like the 5-spoke stock non-psk wheel. I kinda like that too - no need to advertise, the upgrade was more about feel than looks, plus they are less likely to be snatched that way!

Default 17" Fittipaldi Polaris

I think that you will be happy with the Polaris wheel because they are easily to clean than the others.

I saw the exact wheel on blk2.7tpsk's car. They are very nice and outstanding!

I am planning on purchasing a set in Spring 2001. BTW, RE730 is a very good tire to match with the Polaris.

Default Polaris/RE730

How do you like your Polaris/RE730 combo? I am thinking about Spring upgrade, but if the wheel/tires upgrade does what I need, I may just skip the Spring.

Default I think the curves of this wheel really fit the car well.

I'll post some pictures of my car with the 17" Polaris. I couldn't be happier with the wheels, and they are incredibly easy to clean. I have the Dunlop SP9000's, and they are a great fit with this wheel - with the 8" width, and the 235/45 tires, they fill the wheel wells perfectly - the car looks like a 4.2!

Default I'm in same boat........

Yea, I'm thinking about the Polaris too. Nice, clean, and compliment the A6's curves. I'm also considering the BBS RX's. Hmmmm, decisions, decisions. Also I like the Ronal LZ's. I'm sooooo confused!!!!!!!

I do like the cost of the Polaris. The way I look at it is from what I can save by buying the Polaris, I could buy a chip too, and all for about the cost of BBS's or Ronal LZ's.

Default Fittipaldi Argus or Avus+

Avus+

I like the look of these wheels... 17"-20" on the Argus and 15-18" on the Avus+... and not that expensive if you want to be @ 17" range (about $220/each wheel). Otherwise I'd go with the ATP Riva. This, excluding S4 avus wheels, which would be first! (_rl is selling a set above for $1400 which seems fair/average).
>>Muhammad

Default they look great but......

I cant decide either. I had it down to three choices but you just made it four.
My final cut list:
1) OZ Opera. (saw a pic in the registry)
2) BBS RK or RC
3) S4 Avus
4) Polaris
This is too tough!!!
Any thoughts anyone?
