wheels mounted (bww)
After much search-ery I found a shop in town that I had the exact key that fit my lugs and I got the old ones off and the new ones mounted. And... the pics.

It's taking some getting use to. At first i didnt like them but the more I see the car the more they grow on me. Everyone who has commented so far has liked them better than the previous wheels... More pictures available here.
As I type this I wonder... why do I (and basically everyone who posts pictures of their car) go to such trouble to blank out the license plate.

You're car looks great but....
IMO I think the grill looks better badgeless than with the small rings, also I think you should put the rings back on the trunk and cut your valence for the exhaust.

Very nice! Correction though...everyone liked them better, except me...
I thought the Arctic's polished lip was a nice contrast and your spokes matches your car. These new set of wheels makes you look more stealth, it blends it better and it's not a deep-dish style.
It's all about preference. Just wondering, what did you do w/ the Arctics? Selling them on AW Classifieds or keeping them as a back up set?
Don't forget to update your sig.

Looks great...now black out the chrome strips around windows and on trunk lid...
remove the rings from the front, and tint the rear and side lamps.
If you stick with the first wheels, keep the chrome and put the rings back on the trunk and use the large rings on the grill.
Either go full stealth or not.
My 2cents.

Yeah I was kinda "testing the rings out" :)
I might take them off and see how it is. However, the valance is already cut out... Cant really see it with the lighting. The tips are actually about half up inside the valance. They mufflers cant go any higher without hitting the trunk floor.

I agree with the contrast, thats what I liked about them...
however they looked so small because of the lip and the dark center. Everyone always asked me "are those 16's????" and thus far everyone thats seen it around has liked the new ones much better. I still agree with the contrast statement. The polished lip matched the chrome strip around the windows.
The artics are sitting here in the apartment now. If i sold them I'd have to have them refinished. The curb rash on two of them is severe. I was thinking of just sanding them down a bit and then having them powdercoated a lighter silver.
