Where is a good place to find codes for the Audi A6?
Do I need to buy the Bently CD for my car or a Repair manual? I am looking for the codes that control some of the default settings on the climate control.
It would be nice to find codes on a website.

The default speed for the defrost is set to high, would like to set default defrost fan speed to med
or lower.
A guy at work says he changed it on his 2002 A4 but he doesn't know the code for the A6.
He might be full of it,,, I don't know as much about the VAG-COM tool as I wish I did.

Have done many searches of this forum, google, yahoo, found nothing. guy with VAG may be full of
it.
All I can find is that a lot of people who wish there was a way to change the speed on the defrost to a lower setting. There was even one thread that wanted to file a lawsuit about it.
Nobody has a suggestion on how to change/fix it.

I don't think you can change that with the soft coding.. I'll poke at my RB manual..
I never use the defrost though, not a problem for me.. I just run it on manual, and route air up and down.
