Looks like I'll be out in Virginia for the Christmas holiday... my gf is booking the flight and all, so I'll report back when I have more info.

Default Virginia's pretty big. Where exactly? Plenty of us are around here.
I work in Tyson's Corner, in Fairfax County. Places like Richmond or Norfolk are another world, in many ways!

it's close to DC because my gf's father commutes to DC.

Default I'm in Herndon, VA (~25 miles outside of DC)
...and commute into the city as well. Let us know what days, and we'll try to plan a Holiday G2G. Plus, I've yet to meet absolut and Potomac! )
