Will the RS6 type steering wheel retrofit on an S6
I am having a problem with the leather peeling on my S6 steering wheel. They are replacin I understand that a mid year change put the RS6 type paddle-shift wheel on the S6. My car has the buttons on the wheel - will the paddle-fitted wheel work?

Sure seems like it would work as the very late '03 MY S6's did have the paddle shifters.
Won't be cheap though...hopefully you can get it under warranty! How did you get the leather to peel?
I hate the shift buttons and would much prefer the paddles...frankly, I'd just as soon have the old heated wheel back from the 4.2 with the radio and phone controls on it. The 4.2 wheel didn't have the thumb detents (non-sport wheel), but it was fatter and nicer in hand...and I used the radio buttons!

which rims are you putting on the car? 9 spoke rs4's? or the 5spoke rs6's?
either way, they should go on without any problems, no rubbing, etc., as long as you are running the proper rolling diameter and not larger.
