Won't have chance to troubleshoot until tonight, but I installed a HF850 bluetooth last night and .
the airbag light was on this morning. Probably something simple and I don't have my VAG COM cable here with me now or I'd scan it, but was wondering if anyone had any easy thoughts.
I did disconnect the battery for the install and did move the seat all the way back. Checked the under seat connectors and everything is made.
One other possibility is the A pillar. I didnt remove it but just pushed the cable back in the gap and may have disloged the airbag connector there.

You da man! I forgot to search for your A pillar post. I have had that off from the
grab handle back to work on the B pillar a couple of times but always left the A pillar end attached.
Thanks for that key tip on the clip. Saved me mucho trouble and probably some A pillar creases.

Found it! Gotta love this forum, VAG COM & Bentley. Code was Driver's airbag igniter
resistance too high which most likely meant open circuit based on the work I had just done. Rang it out to the yellow connector by the lower A pillar junction point. Connector didn't look loose or disconnected, but when I reseated it, the fault went from solid to intermittent. Cleared it and it stayed away.
Easy as pie.
