Default Would you buy a diesel Audi?
with direct injection and maybe a turbo. I think it would sell. The torque would be great for off-the-line getaways

Saw A8L diesel on MotorWeek segment last night abaout how good diesels are getiing.

It depends on how good the engine is. Diesel technology today is nothing compare to what we are used to from years ago. If the technology is there and is good enough, I would consider it for sure. Gasoline engine is still my #1 choice over electric, hybrid, or diesel at this point.

Diesels perform awesome while still giving you great mileage.

Deisel turbos also have lots of mod potential. I've seen a huge Ford diesel truck with lift kit run 12s.
