Default does Audi make ugly engines or what?

I have a 2.7T. Both are ugly. How about they clean up the design on top and then eliminate the stupid plastic covers?

Default that doesn't make it right

Look under the hood of a Saturn some time. Or a Cadillac Catera.

have you ever looked a Ford Taurus SHO? ( the yamaha engines, before 96) these are really cool looking engines, I've seen some that were polished and were like works of art. too bad its a ford.

Yes in fact I read an article about a proposed S6 with a 4.2 biturbo in 2001 or 2002. Again speculation but it was an actual article. If I remember the mag I will post it.
Greg

Default My dad's has over 160K and still going strong. Lasted longer than our 5KS.

But the slop in the steering shaft is a royal PITA. A real comment on American design, considering that it was the preeminent American sports sedan at the time. At least the shifter finally loosened up after 120K.
Todd W

Default Not always...

However, I agree that there is no excuse for the current plastic cover craze. Sheesh, was the Quad4 really so great they thought they should copy it? It's just laziness.

SHO engine is beautiful.

IMHO,
Jimmy
